Charlotte Holloway Inspired Hair Tutorial ~ #2

Welcome to another hairstyle tutorial inspired by the movie “Beyond the Mask”! The beloved heroine of this movie, Charlotte, wears an array of beautiful and intricate hairstyles. Here is the link to my first tutorial of one of Charlotte’s hairstyles:

Today, I’m going to show you how to recreate another of her hairstyles — this time, the one she wears for the big masquerade ball in New York.

Of course, I wasn’t on set seeing Kara’s hair get done up – so I’m not at all saying this is how they did it. I’m just saying this is my tried-and-true method onย how you can get a similar look. ๐Ÿ™‚

Have fun, and be sure to drop me a comment! (Pictures of your recreation are appreciated!)

Music: Well, all “Beyond the Mask” fans should know what it is! But, if you happen not to remember, it’s the “Duke of Kent’s Waltz”, the waltz Charlotte dances while wearing this hairstyle. ย ๐Ÿ˜€

Trivia: The raw footage of this tutorial was originally 1:20:55 long! That’s as long as a feature-length film! (Don’t worry — the hairstyle itself doesn’t take that long!)

Note: This tutorial is not endorsed or sponsored by Burns Family Studios and the picturesย I am not selling, making a profit from, or benefiting from these in any way, shape, or form. All copyrights remain with the respective owner(s). (Excluding my own photos.)ย Itโ€™s just my guess on how to make a similar look.

  1. When Elisabeth saw you, she said you looked like Charlotte!
Hope that made you really happy – I know it will!!

I tried this on Elisabeth. The bobby pins showed a lot, but anyway:
